Hi, I'm Matt!
I'm an Alt-Country and Alternative Rock artist
based in Shelton, WA. I write songs with catchy melodies and lyrics that stick
with you. I’ve been passionate about music for as long as I can remember, and I
started playing guitar when I was 14. My style’s been shaped by a mix of early influences like
Neil Young, John Fogerty, and Jim Croce, and later by artists like Noel
Gallagher, Coldplay, and many others. I am a Christian and also grew up on gospel --especially Southern Gospel and CCM-- and that honest foundation still runs deep in
everything I create.
To me, my songs are a reminder to my future self about how to
feel about the world and its happenings. Music is an outlet of the soul.
