It’s Here — When the Sun Began to Fade Is Out Now!

Today’s the day. My new single, When the Sun Began to Fade, is officially out — and I’m both excited and humbled to finally share it with you.

This one is deeply personal. I wrote it in memory of my grandfather, who passed away in 2013 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He played a big role in shaping who I am — steady, kind, and full of wit. Writing this song was my way of honoring him and grappling with the mix of gratitude and regret that comes with losing someone you love.

Even though the theme is heavy, the music is intentionally upbeat. My grandfather brought so much warmth to the people around him, and I wanted the sound to reflect that.

If you’ve ever lost someone or wished you had more time with them, I hope this song resonates. More than anything, I hope it reminds you to make the time — while you still can — for the people who matter most.
